What the Cannon needs to understand is that this small country is already overpopulated, We do not have the infrastructure , and recorces to sustain more people.
ReplyDeleteI agree we are overpopulated but we need younger immigrants as we are an ageing population. Our population has increased every ten years since 1801 and whatever we become will be the new England - in the 1830s you had to be (amongst other things) Christian and Protestant to be English - I am neither of those but I am a modern Englishman.
